Como Campus Workday - May 31st
We had a mighty crew focused on clearing Stall 6, among other ongoing projects.
Steve Burt brought his truck that includes a mounted crane again. He was able to maneuver the crane into Stall 6 where we removed the lathe and heritage drill press. Jon Dierksheide, Dale Shallenberger & Steve strapped the crane cable to the lathe.
Jon Dierksheide, Dale Shallenberger, Road Master Alex Hois, Mark Williams & Steve Burt with heritage rail removed from Stall 6.
Road Master Alex Hois, Jon Dierksheide, Steve Schweighofer, James Mackay & Steve Burt remove timbers. The timbers were in even worse shape than we had guessed. Stall 6 at EOD – note: heritage jack providing support for Tool Room with timbers removed.
Takoda, April & Aaron Myers continued restoration of the tractor including starting the painting process.
Chip Sherman, Bob Shoppe & Mark Arbucci performed the annual re-install of the Depot signage.
After we removed the Stall 6 rail, we had no choice but to relocate the tool cart and handcar into the maintenance car shed. Mike Bottlemy, James Mackay & Jon Dierksheide provided the muscle.
